I really needed these parts quickly since I had a rear wheel bearing/hub go bad that was discovered while visiting my parents out in Iowa and had only a couple of days to be back on the road to Virginia. The forum and Phil Prince have been awesome and quite a learning experience for me. I almost feel like an expert on the V12 and its systems. I have done a full restoration and rebuild of the engine with newer technology parts and performance items. Hi Phil and Ken,
I just wanted to share a few photos of my 'cat with you. You guys have been tremendous with all of your assistance, without you and the people on the forum this would not have been possible.

As you can see I made a few adjustments from completely original stock but nothing very radical. All of my changes were intended to enhance rather than change the nature and feel of the car.

This is a 1987 XJS, VIN 137490. The color is Dorchester gray with the mulberry interior. The car has been repainted in the original color with a little added micro metal flake. The carpets and leather are all original but have been completely refurbished by me. The wheels are Dayton's and the exhaust tips are from Keisler in TN. I removed the resonators. I also replaced the radio with a Kenwood AM/FM CD. Other than cleaning up the wiring routing under the hood and adding the radiator fluid in-line filters and the Jaguar V 12 badges to the air intake manifolds that is the extent of my modifications. I did do a little painting as well, the throttle tower is brass colored with black trim and the fuel cooler cover is painted brass as well.

Excellent. By the way, I just wanted to tell you and anyone else involved what a fantastic company you have. I have only had this car six weeks, and it's not only my first Jag, but my first foreign car period.

Your forum run by Phil has already saved me untold money on a persistent braking problem. He was able to identify the problem to the letter via the forums and I was able to fix it myself.

I was also intimidated by all the stories of horrendous prices for parts and repair of my Jag. Calling dealer parts departments scared the wits out of me when they quoted prices. With your company, the prices are pretty much inline for what I pay for parts for my wife's 95 Ford. I can handle that.

You also have parts that a lot of the other "different" web companies can't offer. It seems they all use the same warehouse/search engine. Not only do you folks have everything, you beat the competitors by miles. I plan to keep this car for awhile, and drive it a lot.

Between your parts and Phil, I plan to be a customer exclusively to you for a long time. I am also a very hard customer to please, and so far I've been wow'd. Keep up the great work on all fronts and thank you.

You responded to my question about swapping out my 6 cylinder for a V12 in my series 1 XJ. I'd just like to thank you for your sage advice. It seems like I have tried to figure every way possible to be able to keep my little series 1 car with out putting a HOLE in my wallet, and it seems that it just isn't possible to do so.

I also own a 1990 XJS-C (V12) and so I think that I will take your advice (along with some advice delivered to some of my other inquires by Phil) and PUNT. I have my eye on a nice little series1 (1973) XJ12 that is for sale and may peruse that avenue to quench my appetite for a series 1 V12 sedan.

I'm new to the forum and really appreciate the time that you guys take to answer questions from (and for) people who need some help with their cars.

My husband bought a Land Rover. He didn't want a Land Rover, but he wanted something he could bring to Motorcars LTD for service because he would never take his cars to anybody but Mike.

I would like to extend my appreciation to the people at MOTORCARS LTD for their outstanding QUALITY SERVICE.I was greeted by friendly people that listened to my issues and queried me professionally when I may not have been clear. The work performed on my car was of top quality and the overall experience is one that I will brag about to others. Job well done.
