    How to tell the Land Rover CV joints apart.


    Range Rover
    		On pre-ABS Range Rovers, there are two types of CV Joints: an (A) type axle and a (B) type axle. They can be distinguished with the naked eye by the shape of the joint. The differences are noted below.

    cv joint
    		"A" Type CV Joint
    Internal splines go all the way to the top.

    cv joint
    		"B" Type CV Joint
    Internal splines stop 1/2 inch from top.
