Discovery II 1999-2004

Step by step instructions are not supplied with the ROV.SPRINGKIT.C for two reasons:

1) Using accepted safety precautions, the removal of the rear air springs is straightforward
2) Installation of the lower spring mount plates to accept the coils springs is easily accomplished with the bolts provided

Defeating the EAS dash lights cannot be accomplished without the ability to communicate with the vehicle via specialized hardware/software.

Discovery II’s were produced equipped with the choice of rear EAS or normal coil springs, so every vehicle is capable of supporting either system electronically. This function is internally “Switchable” within the SLABS function inside the main vehicle computer.

Any Qualified Rover Specialist should be equipped to provide this simple service for a nominal fee.
