Many of our employees here at Motorcars LTD are British car enthusiasts. Here are a few of them with pictures of their personal rides.
The distinguished Mr. Roy Johnson
 |
Roy Johnson, our salvage car buyer and all around nice guy, poses with his pristine 1985 Jaguar XJ6. Kept covered and garaged with only 69,000 miles on the odometer, open the door and this beauty still has that unmistakeable scent of fine leather. The wood is gorgeous. |
An Aggie and his Jags
 |
Enthusiast Team Leader Ken Karr and his personal rides. 1982 XJ6 with custom interior, XJS black Lister package wheels and fully functional yellow Euro-style center fog lamps. Note the “JAGGIE” personalized Texas A&M University license plate. Gig'em Aggies. |
 |
His newest acquisition, a 1990 XJS convertible he saved from the car crusher. So many Jags, so little time. |
XJ6 Pilot
Since 1987, Son Luu has been working on Jaguars and Land Rovers here at Motorcars LTD. A factory trained MG and Triumph technician, his experience with British cars approaches a quarter of a century. Of much greater importance, however, was his life prior to that.
Beginning in 1963 in an 0-1 Bird Dog, Son Luu became an Air Force pilot for the Republic of Viet Nam. Working his way up through the T28, the A1 Sky Raider and the A37 Dragon Bomber, Major Son Luu's valiant twelve-year fight to defend his homeland from communist insurgents ended when he saved his F5e squadron from the hands of the invading NVA by leading it to Thailand after Saigon fell, earning a coveted ride out of that beleaguered country for his family on a C141 transport. We are honored to have him with us.

Below, he poses with his 1982 Series III XJ6, given a second engine here in our shop. |
